Saturday 19th September 2020 – 9:00-17:00
The INPP Classroom Programme – supporting healthy movement maturation
Ann Swain is a licentiate of the Institute of Neuro Physiological Psychology (INPP) and will guide participants to an understanding of the role primitive and postural reflexes play in both healthy and encumbered motor and cognitive development. A robust body of research evidences the efficacy of this movement programme as a support to children’s literacy, behavioural and attention development.

Saturday 10th October 2020 – 9:00-17:00
Auditory Processing – Understanding the differing facets of listening and hearing.
Ann Swain is a Johansen Sound Therapist and will guide participants to an appreciation of how to recognise a child struggling with an auditory processing disorder and how we might modify our classrooms and teaching to enhance their learning success.

Friday 30th October 2020 – 9:00-17:00
The Perfect SENCO – developing clear and effective protocols that support schools to identify and meet the needs of pupils in the context of independent schools, the Equality Act 2010 and the SEND Code of Practice 2015.
Natalie Packer is author and advisor to NASEN (National Association for SEN) as well as an international educational consultant.
Cost £30 for the first 2 colleagues of each SWSF school. £50 for all others.
Saturday 31st October 2020 – 9:00-12:30 (half day)
Visual Processing – the invisible hindrance in many learning, attention and movement challenges.
Lucinda Howard is a registered optometrist, with a particular focus supporting those with reading difficulties. Her workshop will provide opportunity for participants to develop an understanding of visual processing development and the impact on learning, attention and wellbeing in case of inefficient processing.
